Based on the current lending environment, I have decided to make a move to a bigger Mortgage Banking firm. This decision was based primarily on the continued changes in the mortgage business including increased compliance, more regulation, and a greater concentration on government loans (FHA, VA).

I have accepted a position at Bell Mortgage starting immediately.  Bell Mortgage is an established Mortgage Bank and has been a fixture on the Minnesota landscape for a long time.  I am excited about the opportunity and I have no regrets about my time building Fortec Mortgage.  With Bell Mortgage behind me, I will be able to concentrate on growing my business, providing even better service and I will have more products at my disposal. 

I will still be able to 'shop' among mutiple lenders for the most competitive rate but the file will be entirely processed, underwritten, closed and funded by Bell Mortgage.  In the current lending environment, this helps.
